Simon Mason was born ages ago in a tatty seaside town near Bristol.

The first 36 years of his life involved a lot of difficult situations, some of his own making, other not so much.

He is the songwriter for the ever-changing musical crew known as Hightown Pirates.

He is the critically acclaimed author of the book, Too High Too Far Too Soon ( A remarkable memoir. London Evening Standard) the follow up to which is penciled for publication later in 2024.

He is a highly experienced recovery coach, having supported many artists struggling with addiction issues, here in the UK and Europe.

He has been clean/sober since June 2006.

He resides in Margate.
