Ruby & the Mudflaps are a group from the 1970s that released one single on Jupiter Records in 1977 with ‘Do The Boogie/Breezy,’ which was recently revived by our friends at Cree Records. Ruby otherwise known as Mel Canady has been based in Munich for the past 40 years and has kindly agreed for us to release these two unreleased nuggets which had been sitting on tapes since originally being recorded in the 1970s. ‘Country Girl is a live recording but we felt that it was too good not to release it on vinyl. We hope that you like it as much as us. Our plan is to release a new album by Mel later this year.
